Located in Yellow Springs, Ohio - The Miami Valley Educational Computer Association (MVECA) is a consortium of 30 school districts and service centers from Clark, Clinton, Greene, Highland, Fayette, Madison, Montgomery, and Ross Counties in Ohio. MVECA is one of 18 Information Technology Centers (ITC) licensed by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) - Section 3301.075 of Ohio Revised Code. Founded in 1980 and reorganized as Regional Council of Governments in 2006, MVECA is a non-profit organization owned and governed by the K-12 school districts we serve.
MVECA provides services that benefit the school district administrative and financial offices, as well as school technology staff, principals, counselors, librarians, teachers, students, and parents!
MVECA provides a variety of computer services to our districts including: Accounting, Payroll, Student Administration, Electronic Grade Books, Library Automation, Professional Development, Internet Access, Technical/Network Support and State EMIS reporting to the ODE. By sharing resources, MVECA provides cost-effective technology services, combined with superior customer service!
