Vtel Camera Operation

1. To operate the camera use the arrows on the screen and left click the mouse button to move the camera in the desired direction. This takes practice!
2. To zoom, place the arrow in the middle left of the screen until the magnifying glass with the plus in it appears. Left click.
3. To widen the screen, place the arrow in the middle right of the screen until the magnifying glass with the minus in it appears. Left click.
4. To select a camera, document camera, or PC desktop, right click the mouse on the keypad, choose video from the main menu, click on the cameras tab, select the desired camera.
5. To change camera control location, right click the mouse on the key pad to bring up the main menu; select video from the main menu; click on the here/there tab. This can also be done with the hot-button on the keyboard.
6. It is best to frame the participants at head and shoulders level. Avoid being too far away or too close. This is more difficult with larger audiences. In the case of large groups, camera preset positions are recommended.
